Parent Consultation
Deeply understanding your child's strengths and areas of struggle is a critical part of being able to effectively support your child’s success. A consultation serves to demystify your child’s unique constellation of dyslexia, increase your understanding of its impact, and will help you to make a lasting positive impact at home and at school. You will learn practical, actionable tools to create a solid foundation for your child’s learning and future success.
Consultations help explain test results in terms of how your child’s strengths and challenges can show up in real life and be supported and fostered to build confidence.
· Explaining test results and what they means
· IEP Meeting Prep (what to know and ask for going in)
· Transitions to a new school or grade
· Advocating for effective supports and accommodations
